Orascom Telecom says launches mobile banking

CAIRO (July 03 2009): Egypt's Orascom Telecom (OT) said on Thursday it had launched a mobile banking operation via its Pakistani subsidiary Mobilink, widening access to banking in a country with limited penetration. EU rules signal cheaper mobile calls for travellers

BRUSSELS (July 03 2009): European holidaymakers can expect a lower bill for using their mobile phones while abroad in Europe this summer because new EU regulated price caps took effect across the 27-nation bloc on Wednesday.
